ABSTRACT: This paper summarizes the "Affirmative Action"
training of unskilled minorities for jobs as firemen. The
various training approaches undertaken are discussed; some
were more successful than others. Hopefully, the information
can be used by other fire
departments as a basis for developing their own minority
"Affirmative Action" training program. (NTIS)
