TITLE: Women in Management: Bibliography.

YEAR PUBLISHED: 1977
NOTE: 44 p.

ABSTRACT: The annotated bibliography contains citations on
works concerned with problems of women in regard to equal
employment opportunities and fair selection procedures in
education, business, and industry. Over 100 entries from
journals, bibliographies, dissertations, research studies,
books, and reports are included. They have been drawn from
the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), ABI
Inform, and Social Science Citation Index data-based
retrieval systems. Listings are included which focus on sex
discrimination in employment practices, sex role
stereotypes, affirmative action programs, attitudes of
management, training programs, federal legislation,
administrator selection, change strategies, career
development, marital status, and leadership styles. The
bibliography is organized according to document type, such
as journal articles, bibliographies, books, or speeches.
Each entry provides information on author, title,
publisher, date, issue and page numbers (where
appropriate), data base accession number, and abstract.
Almost all entries cite publications since 1971.

This is an ERIC database document. ERIC is the National
Education Information Network for providing ready access
to the literature of education -descriptions of exemplary
programs, research and development efforts, and related
information that can be used in developing more effective
educational programs. The ERIC database is currently
available on CD-ROM in the main library (ground floor of
the west wing) at Michigan State University. To locate
ERIC documents in the library identify the first line of
each record (i.e., the field ERIC TITLE NUMBER). ED
following ERIC TITLE NUMBER indicates an ERIC document,
an unpublished research study. Most of these items are
available in the Microforms library, located on the 3rd
floor of the west wing. All you need is the six digit ED
number. If EJ follows ERIC TITLE NUMBER the item is a
journal article. The complete journal name is listed after
the code JOURNAL.
