Heat Resistant Glass Utensils-Care and Cleaning
Care
Protect from sudden changes in temperature; do not
move from cold to hot or vice versa, as utensils may
break. Do not use ovenware on top of the range. Avoid
impacts which can later cause utensil to break suddenly.
Do not scratch.
Cleaning
Wash by hand or in dishwasher.
Use a non-abrasive cleaner like a plastic pad or
sponge and ammonia to scour glass.
Cooked-on food may be removed by soaking the utensil
in 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 quart of water. A
plastic scouring pad and wooden spoon are useful in
removing cooked-on food.
Mineral deposits may be removed from top-of-the-
range ware by boiling a solution of equal parts water and
vinegar in them.
