Recent Additions to this Website

(February 4, 2003) New Blue Buttons have been added to the website. This allows quick access to key websites of interest to all staff. (see the left column)

(Feburary 1, 2003) Handouts on the concept of Professionalism for Extension Educators. Presented by Joe Lessard (CED Ingham County) at the New Staff Orientation Program. (see Resources for New Staff)

(January 23, 2003) A link to the archives of MSUE Public Policy Notes has been added. This newsletter is designed to provide all MSUE staff members with brief background information concerning current legislative issues. (see Resources for Campus Staff, Resources for County Staff, Resources for CEDs)

(January 18, 2003) Search window has been added to the website. You can now easily search all of the professional development webpages. (see the left column)

(January 17, 2003) A number of excellent professional and personal development resources have been added. Included is an MSUE Personal Professional Development Plan (which was revised from one created by Colorado State University Extension), Core Competency Development - Suggested Activities which are keyed to each of the 10 MSUE core competency areas, and an Organizational and Office Procedures Checklist. (see Resources for New Staff, Resources for County Staff, Resources for CEDs)

(January 3, 2003) People Resource Directory created by LeadNet MSU Extension colleagues can search to find help on a variety of leadership and facilitation-related topics at this user-friendly People Resource Directory. The directory indicates topics, level of self-assessed expertise, and type of availability offered by the resource person. The goal? To better interconnect the richness and depth of the knowledge and experience we have among ourselves. MSUE staff are invited to search the database to find someone to contact or add their own listing. (December 18, 2002) Ohio State University Extension Professional Development Materials Web-based materials for Extension staff on a number of different topics. Check out Too Much To Do... Too Little Time and Building Dynamic Groups. (see Resources for County Staff)
