4-H Performing ArtsA 4-H performing arts project can give kids the chance to explore and express themselves creatively. Watch young people unfold as they dance, clown, act and make music. 4-H performing arts includes clowning, dance, drama and music.

  • Discover Chinese Dance Activity Kit for Grades K – 6
    Part of the Michigan 4-H China Project, the Discover Chinese Dance activity kit is filled with silk dance costumes, papier-mache masks, rice straw hats, ribbon sticks and music for the Chinese Children's Ribbon Dance. The materials help young people learn about classical and folk dance in China. A study guide is included to maximize the program's effectiveness.
  • Chinese Children's Ribbon Dance for Grades K – 6
    Part of the Michigan 4-H China Project, this kit consists of 12 ribbon wands and an audiotape of music and dance instructions. The dances are easy to learn for dancers and nondancers alike. The ribbon sticks are also fun for children to use to create their own dances.
