Mapping Michigan

Find out where a few of Michigan’s many natural resources are concentrated!

To play: Click and drag a symbol representing one of Michigan’s natural resources to a shaded area of the map where you think that resource is concentrated. If you’ve chosen correctly, when you release the mouse button the symbol will snap into place on the map with a “pop” sound. Hint: Four of the eight natural resource are represented by more than one area on the map. If you drop a symbol on one area where that resource is concentrated, the symbol will pop up on the other areas, too. To learn more: Click on the “Resource Information" button. The "Do, Reflect, Apply" button will take you to more hands-on outdoor activities.
