- Information Access
Center
The Information Access Center is a joint effort of MSU Extension and the Michigan
State University Library to link MSU Library resources and educational materials
and MSU Extension databases.
- CYFERNet
A public information service on child, youth and family program support and
curriculum materials. The service is sponsored by the National Agricultural
Library and the U.S. Department of Agricultures Cooperative State Research,
Education and Extension Service (CSREES). MSU Extension is one of only five
states nationally with formal relationships with four of the five networks.
- Helping Children and Their Families Cope
with Disasters
Resources to help families and communities respond to the emotional aftermath
of national terrorist events and help families and especially children understand
and cope.
- LearnNet
LearnNet offers information on Michigan State University Extension distance
learning opportunities including a link to searchable listings of national
satellite educational program offerings.

- National Network for Child Care
A network to increase and strengthen the quality of nonparental care environments by
making quality research, resources and best practices available for direct local access.
- National Network for Collaboration
A network to create environments that foster collaboration and lead to citizen
problem-solving in order to improve the lives of children, youth and families. MSU
Extension is one of 13 formal university partners.
- National Network for Family Resiliency
This network brings together educators, researchers, agency personnel, families, advocates
for families and practitioners to provide leadership to acquire, develop and analyze
resources that foster family resiliency. The network provides access to information
through electronic media, training, education and community development.

Print and video learning and training materials designed to provide food, nutrition and
health education to low-income and low-literacy families.
- Extension Food Safety
Education Database
A national database of food safety resources and educational materials managed by MSU
Extension.
- National Network for Health
This network consists of 22 formal university partners, including MSU Extension, networked
to support and empower individuals, communities, and children, youth and families as they
make decisions about health and health care.

- Guide to Michigan 4-H
Provides information on youth development activities and resource materials
to support working with young people on a variety of subjects and in a variety
of settings.
- CYFERNet Kids
Space
A national online resource for young people that includes educational information,
chat rooms and activities developed and reviewed by the national Cooperative
Extension System.
- 4-H Cooperative Curriculum Review System
A nationwide curriculum development system for the Cooperative Extension System.
It provides high-quality, experientially based curriculum to 4-H and other
nonformal youth development organizations. MSU Extension is one of the several
collaborating states.
- 4-H Mall
A national site offering online opportunities to purchase 4-H curricula, clothing,
incentives and recognition items.
- National Network for Child Care

effort to track the status of children in the United States.
- Children's Defense Fund
The Children's Defense fund is a private nonprofit organization that provides a voice for
America's children by educating the nation about needs and ways to offer preventive
investment in their lives.
- Zero To Three
The National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families offers this sight dedicated to the
healthy development of infants and toddlers. It offers research and best practices to
inform and support parents and professionals.
