Click here to skip information and go directly to Recommendations. The first section of the MSU soil test report shows your information, as in this sample. Boxes with red text will show explanatory notes if you position your mouse arrow over them.
The second section of the MSU soil test report, shown here, gives the lab results and a graph to help you interpret them.
The third part of the report contains additional information. In most cases you do not need to understand these additional results calculated by the soil test lab. Your county MSUE agriculture or horticulture educator can supply additional information. Click on the titles if you are curious to learn more about those topics.
If you wish to have your soil tested for more of these items, see the soil lab price list. You can indicate additional tests desired on the original form you send in with your sample, or call the lab about performing additional tests on a soil sample you recently sent in. Reference the lab # at the top of your report. Part of your sample is kept for a period of time in case additional or repeat tests are needed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
