More about SVMGA:
SVMGA is a not-for-profit organization, which provides an opportunity
for those who have completed the Michigan State University’s Master
Gardener program to exchange ideas, receive new information and share
acquired knowledge through ongoing volunteer projects.
We award grants of up to $200 each to fund community gardening efforts
Master Gardeners are involved in.
Some local SVMGA projects are: the Children’s Zoo of Saginaw,
Southbound I-75 rest stop, Saginaw Township Playscape, Andersen
Enrichment Center Rose Garden, Saginaw County Rail Trail, Rainbow’s
End playground and the Dow Center. To view pictures of Saginaw Master
Gardeners in action -

We sponsor fund-raisers to support our ongoing projects and bring in
speakers for the membership meetings and our annual gardening
conference the first Saturday in October.
