Oakland
County Garden Walk Activity |
Posted 1/17/2001 |
This is a Garden Walk that the Macomb County Master
Gardeners attended in Oakland County. Shown are a few M.G.'s taking a
tour at the gardens of Donald and Thea Blomquist.
Starting at the road to go view the Rose Garden
first and then on to the beautiful color display
that Donald and Thea have in the back yard. It sure was a treat and
we in Macomb County are grateful for their generosity to let us enjoy
the beauty in the blooms.
Don and Thea have a unique Garden, and it was featured
more than once in Better Homes and Garden. The temperature
was near 100 degrees this evening, July 30th 1999 The Gardeners were
treated to sighting a Sphinx Moth on Thea's Phlox before the
evening was over.
