It
thrives in full shade & moist soil. It's grown
from 6" to 18" in the 5 months. I've never seen
it bloom. I don't know if it's an annual,
perennial, or shrub. It came from a
greenhouse/nursery originally. I'd like an ID on
it.

Plant number 39 is Alternanthera
reineckii. The cultivar looks like Red Fire Leaf. It was
featured on the HGTV program "The Gardener's Journal" which
aired on 10-29.
