1 - Phytolacca americanna - Pokeweed - john rice -monroe

2 - This plant is a pokeweed. There was one on the nature
trail in waterloo and I had to find out what it was because
it was so big. The thick stems turned bright red in the
fall. Lee Lack
3 - I think that your plant is tobacco. Nicotiana tabacum
and Nicotiana rustica Family Solanaceae
(nightshade, potatoes, tomatoes, Datura, etc.) check the
photos at this website.

4 - Looks like a poke plant, Latin name unknown, spread by
bird seed.
5 - If this plant developed attractive clusters of berries
that eventually turn black, it looks like a Pokeweed,
Phytolacca americana. If so, not only will this plant
spread its seeds at an incredible rate due to birds
carrying the seeds, the plant is not safe. The berries are
highly poisonous and the sap of the plant is equally unsafe!

6 - Could it be bamboo?? Does it have a reddish tint to the
stems? It should get white flowers in early fall.
7 - I would suspect that this large tropical-looking
thing is Colocasia esculenta or Taro or another
species in that genus.People plant it in the warmer regions
of the US. Check out these sites for comparision:
