The Macomb County Master Gardeners started off 2001 with
a Walk in the Woods at the New Shelby Twp. Shadbush Nature Center River
Bends Park, Our Guide through the woods and trails was Master Gardener
Rich Kotulak Class of .'93 A special tour of the Shadbush Nature Center
for all Master Gardeners, Master Composters and Friends of, took place
on Sat. May 5th at 10:00 AM. The tour consisted of the exhibits of
indigenous plants and animals within the 3,990 sq.ft. log building AND a
walk along and into the "Grand Canyon" of Macomb County' a totally
dedicated nature area.
