NACAA Distinguished Service Award

MAEA is the Michigan affiliate of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) that represents extension professionals across the country.  Every year NACAA sponsors an Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Meeting and gives National Awards for programming excellence among MAEA members.  The NACAA Distinguished Service Award is for agents with more than 10 years of experience. The Acheivement Award is for Agents with less than 10 years in Extension. See the bottom of the page for DSA nominating proceedures.

Distinguished Service Award Nomination Proceedure

Distinguished Service Award nominations may be submitted for a State Association member with ten or more years of service, by himself/herself or by another member.  Nominees must be members of the State and National Association the year they receive the award. Send the completed applications to the MAEA Recognition and Awards Chair of the  Program Recognition Committee.

  1. MAEA Distinguished Service Award Application Form (Word Document)  (Must be completed by the nominee (or nominator) and sent to the MAEA Recognition and Awards Chair by December 15.  This form is used by MAEA to evaluate the candidates for selection of the Michigan DSA Awards.
  2. NACAA DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD Form 3-2003 (PDF Format) This form should be completed by the nominee (or nominator) and forwared to the MAEA Recognition and Award Chair.  This form will be sent to NACAA for the DSA winners.
