I believe in the development of head, heart, hands, and health of all youth.

I believe in the educational and character building purposes of the Extension Youth Programs, therefore, I will administer the program in such a way that it will merit respect and a reputation for high educational standards.

I believe in conducting myself in such a way that I may create a high regard for 4-H and a reputation as a true educator and administrator.

I believe in seeking success, but never at the expense of others nor my own self respect.

I hold my co-workers in high regard and pledge myself to keep them informed as I in turn inform myself about their programs.

I will maintain a continued growth of professional competence. As I use my specialized talents and skills, I will strive for excellence.

I believe in the merits of my profession and the contribution it can make to society. In believing so, I will support, aid and strengthen my professional association.

Holding these beliefs to be true I dedicate myself to the goal of helping others to realize their own personal potentials. To this I shall give of my best knowledge and efforts.
