Your local Jackson County Conservation District can be an excellent help at supplying a subsoiler, soil survey maps and no till drill for warm season grass establishment. They also have a number of trees and shrubs available at their tree sale you can use to create a wildlife habitat.

A number of organizations exist with chapters locally to help foster wildlife. They include Pheasants Forever  and Quality Deer Management .
