Global Interdependence in Agriculture Initiative

In early 2002, CSREES-USDA and the Aspen Institute joined forces to explore the potential of the research of the FrameWorks Institute for land grant colleges. That research included documenting the interpretation of information about global events and issues among citizens, policymakers and the media. Along with public opinion polls and other communication studies, the Global Interdependence in Agriculture Initiative provides advice to university and extension communicators about how best to structure messages for positive engagement in global affairs.
