Comments: A moist soil and a shaded locations are the most
favorable growing conditions for this fern. It will
tolerate some dryness and so may tolerate lighter soils.
Propagation: Division in spring or fall.
Cultivars:
'Linearis Polydactyla' - The fronds are deeply cut and
frilled at the ends of the segments.
'Undulata Robusta' - Vigorous plants, fronds with wavy
margins.
