Pancratium maritimum--Sea Daffodil
Height: 18 in Spread: 12 in
Type: tender bulb
Flowers: White
Comments: Sea Daffodil is native to the Mediterranean region
where it is usually found near the coast. The shape of the
flower combined with the plant's coastal habitat have led to
the common name. In cold climates, the bulbs must be dug
and stored indoors. It is only hardy outdoors in zone 8.
The fragrant, white flowers are combined with bluish-green
foliage. Sea Daffodil can also be used as a potted plant.
