Trillium erectum--Red Trillium
Hardiness Zones: 4 to 6
Height: 15 in Spread: 12 in

will occur. Red Trillium flowers early and is sometimes
injured by spring freezes and frost. Provide a growing area
with a moist, slightly acid soil. As with other trillium,
this one prefers a shaded area. Red Trillium is native to
North America.
Propagation: Division of the clumps or by seed. Self-seeded
volunteers may help increase plant numbers.
