Horticulture on the INTERNET


A considerable amount of horticulture information is
available on the INTERNET or World Wide Web. Search
utilities can provide access to vast numbers of files
relating to a single plant. To help sort through this
mass of information, consider using the following URLs as
starting points. Links to nurseries whose catalogs were used
in creating OPP can be found by searching on
keywords RESOURCE, NURSERIES, or CATALOGS.


Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association

The Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association web site
will provide information about the organization and its
services. In addition, an FAQ about using the Ornamental
Plants plus CD-ROM is at this site.


MSU Extension IMP Data Base System
http://www.msue.msu.edu/msue/imp/

This URL will provide you with a list of MSU Extension
data bases. Several of the data bases contain information
related to horticulture. The data bases are updated as
necessary. Please note that the most up-to-date version of
Ornamental Plants plus can be found in the listing, however,
none of the images are available on line.

The MSU Information Access Center provides links to sites at
MSU and other states. The IAC sites have been
categorized so that they can be more easily accessed. The
sites listed are considered to have a good amount of
information. It is the responsibility of the user to
