Flowers: White, pink
Comments: The flowers of this plant are rounded clusters
with a skirt of bracts. Several clusters can be borne on
branches at the top of a 3-foot tall stalk. The plants
prefer shade or partial shade and will grow in most garden
soils. With good growing conditions the plants may form
large clumps.
Propagation: Divide the plants in spring or fall.
Cultivars:
'Lars' - Dark red flowers.
'Rainbow' - The flowers are white with pink tones.
'Rosea' - Pink bracts.
'Rosensymphonie' ('Rose Symphony') - The flowers and
bracts are in several shades of pink and rose.
