Comments: Japanese Aralia is a large shrub or small tree.
The large leaves give the plant a coarse texture and
thorns grow along the stems. The white flowers are borne
in large panicles during late summer when few other woody
plants are in bloom.

Cultivars:
'Variegata' - Leaflets have white margins.
