Comments: Rocky Mountain Maple is a small tree with a
shrubby, upright growth habit sometimes forming multi-
stemmed clumps. As its name implies, it grows in the
mountains along streambanks. The fruits are winged and
tinged red and red leaf petioles bear the shiny, green
leaves. The fall foliage color is bright yellow. The
height can be variable depending on growing conditions.
