TROPAEOLUM DISEASE PROBLEMS
Bacterial leaf spot causes spots on the leaves, then
the leaves rot. Remove and destroy infected leaves.
Bacterial wilt causes plants to turn yellow, wilt and
die. The stem appears to be water-soaked. If infected
stems are cut, a mass of gray slime oozes out and turns
brown. The plants usually die without blossoming. The
bacteria enter through root injuries caused deep
cultivation. Avoid infested soil and remove and destroy
diseased plants.
