Comments: A rounded, hardy tree with white flowers
slightly larger than an inch. The greenish yellow fruit
are an inch to an inch and a half in diameter but not
ornamental.
Cultivars:
'Bailfrost' (Mountain Frost TM) - A more vigorous trees
with an upright growth habit.
'Mordak' (Prairie Gem TM) - A smaller, more rounded
version of the species. Heavy production of white
flowers in spring.
