Comments: Willowleaf Pear has narrow, silvery leaves. The
white flowers, borne in mid-May, are followed by hard
green fruit. The tree is susceptible to fire blight.
Cultivars:
'Pendula' - A spreading tree with drooping branches
about 15 feet high and wide.
'Pendula Silfrozam' (Silver Frost TM) - A weeping habit
similar to other cultivars.
'Silver Cascade' - A pendulous habit is combined with
silvery foliage.
