PHOENIX DISEASE PROBLEMS

False smut or leaf scab causes formation of yellow leaf
spots followed by small black scabs or warts. Syringing
spreads the disease.

Leaf spot is most serious in poorly lit greenhouses.
The spots are small, round, yellowish and transparent.
The spots may run together to form large, irregular,
gray-brown blotches. If numerous, these may cause death
of the leaf. Syringing may spread this disease.
