Type: deciduous vine

Comments: This vine can reach a height or spread exceeding
30 feet. The plant tolerates dry soil and can be used on
masonry walls. The glossy, dark green (Vis. 2), three-lobed
leaves turn bright red (Vis. 1) in the fall. The plant
produces bluish fruits (Vis. 3) that are not highly
ornamental.

Cultivars:
'Fenway Park' - Yellow foliage. (Vis. 4)
'Green Showers' - The leaves are larger than the
species.
'Lowii' - Small, crinkled leaves.
'Robusta' - Vigorous grower with good red fall color
and waxy, green summer foliage.
'Veitchi' - Large leaves and a vigorous habit.
