Comments: This fast-spreading plant produces purple flower
spikes. The foliage turns yellow in the autumn. Provide
a growing area in full sun and with a moist to wet soil.

Propagation: Division

Cultivars:
'Cloud Nine' - The leaves are blue.
'Haense Herms' - The pink flowers (Vis. 1) appear in
summer. In autumn, the leaves turn dark red.
'Heavy Metal' - Plants (Vis. 2) have an upright habit and
metallic blue foliage.
'Northwind' - Bluish foliage and yellow flowers.
'Rotstrahlbusch' (Vis. 3) - The leaves turn red in the
autumn.
'Strictum' - Upright, bluish foliage, early blooming.
