Comments: Missouri Primrose has a trailing (Vis. 1) habit
that makes it useful as a ground cover. The plant starts
growth late in the spring and then produces its large
yellow flowers (Vis. 2) in mid-summer. Each blossom opens
in the evening and lasts only one day. Provide a growing
area in full sun.

Propagation: Seed or division.
