Malope trifida

Flowers: Pink, purple, red, white

Comments: Malope grows best in a rich, well-drained soil
and when exposed to full sun. The flowers can be 3 inches
in diameter and are produced in large numbers. Some of
the cultivars have attractive darker stripes on the
petals.

Propagation: Propagation is by seed sown directly into the
garden.

Cultivars:
'Pink Queen' - Pale pink flowers have red centers and
stripes.
'Vulcan' - Metallic red flowers.
'White Queen' - Silky white flowers.
