Comments: A growing area in full sun is suggested for this
very large, vigorous plant (Vis. 1). In shade and in
fertile soil it will be especially rampant. The large
leaves are lobed and gray to white on the lower surface.
The flowers are borne in long panicles in summer.
Propagation: Divide in the spring as needed to control the
size of the clump. Seeds may also be used.
