Comments: This rounded plant has grayish-green foliage.
It is usually present in landscapes in the form of one of
its cultivars.
Cultivars: L. x xylosteoides is a hybrid of L. tatarica
and L. xylosteum. The cultivars of this hybrid are
included in this list.
'Clavey's Dwarf' (L. x xylosteoides) - A rounded,
compact form reaching a height of about 7 feet and a
spread of 6 feet (Vis. 1).
'Emerald Mound' - A mounded plant that will be 3 feet
tall but twice that in width. It bears yellowish-
white flowers that are followed by red berries.
'Hedge King' - An upright habit is suitable in hedges.
'Miniglobe' (L. x xylosteoides) - A compact plant with
a height and spread of 4 feet.
