Comments: Provide Goldenchain Tree with a well-drained
soil, however, the tree is reported to tolerate a high pH.
The main ornamental feature is the long, drooping clusters
of yellow flowers (Vis. 1). Avoid areas with excessive cold
or heat. The tree grows best when given light, midday
shade. The parents of this hybrid are L. alpinum and L.
anagyroides.

Cultivars:
'Pendulum' - A cultivar of L. alpinum. A slow-growing,
weeping form.
'Vossii' - A cultivar with longer flower clusters and a
denser habit.
