Iris xiphium--Dutch Iris

Height: 6 in Spacing: 3 in

Comments: The Dutch Iris are really hybrids of the Spanish
Iris. Plant the bulbs about 4 inches deep in a sunny spot
and a well-drained soil. A mulch for winter protection is
suggested. The plants need to be watered regularly during
the growing season. For use as a cut flower, the blooms
must be cut before they are fully open.

Cultivars:
'Blue Diamond' - Purple flowers.
'White Wedgewood' - White flowers.
