ILEX INSECT PROBLEMS - Outdoors
Holly leaf miner larvae mines out the middle of the leaf
leaving yellow or brown trails (Vis. 1).
Scales of various types may infest holly. Crawlers can be
controlled with various pesticides.
Spider mites cause discoloration and speckling of holly
foliage.
