Hedera helix--English Ivy
Type: house plant
Comments: The many cultivars of English Ivy grow best in
bright light. They tolerate high light but growth is
slower. Keep the soil evenly moist and use an equal
analysis fertilizer at 2 week intervals. Ideal
temperatures are 45 to 55 degrees at night and less than
70 degrees during the day. English Ivy is sometimes
listed as easy to grow but some indoor gardeners have
difficulty with it.
Propagation: Propagation is by cuttings taken any time
during the year.
