Comments: Sweet Woodruff may be used as a ground cover in
shaded areas although it will grow in sun. Some shade is
necessary in warm climates. The plant (Vis. 1) spreads
rapidly and bears white flowers in spring. The leaves are
mildly fragrant when dried. Plant in any well-drained soil
in early fall or spring.
Propagation: Propagation is by seed or division in spring
or fall. Lift the plants and separate them into rooted
pieces then replant immediately.
