Comments: This heat and drought tolerant annual often has
flowers with darker centers. Provide a sunny growing area
and a well-drained soil. Gaillardia does dislikes clay
soils.

Propagation: Propagate by seed sown directly into the
garden.

Cultivars:
'Red Plume' - Bright red flowers are produced on plants
about 2 feet tall (Vis. 1).
