Erigeron speciosus--Oregon Fleabane

Flowers: Lavender

Comments: Oregon Fleabane usually blooms from mid-summer
into fall. Set the plants 12 inches apart in a sunny area
and any well-drained soil. The plant can be used in
light, sandy soil. Remove the old flowers as they fade to
obtain additional flowering.

Propagation: Propagate by division in spring or fall.
Seed may be sown outdoors in fall or spring. Inside,
germination usually takes about 3 weeks at temperatures
near 55 degrees.

Cultivars:
'Azure Fairy' - Large lavender flowers with yellow
centers. Blooms in July and August.
'Blue Beauty' - Azure blue flowers with yellow centers.
'Pink Jewel' - Bright pink flowers with yellow centers.
'Strahlenmeer' - Soft blue flowers.
