Eleagnus angustifolia--Russian Olive
Hardiness Zones: 2 to 7
Height: 20 ft Spread: 20 ft Form: rounded
Type: deciduous tree or large shrub
Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches
Comments: Russian Olive is grown for its (Vis. 2) silvery
gray foliage. The tree (Vis. 1) prefers a sunny location
and is tolerant of most soil types. Don't be tempted by the
silvery gray foliage. Canker and verticillium wilt
destroy that silvery silhouette by killing many branches.
