DEUTZIA INSECT PROBLEMS

Aphids can cause distortion of the new growth. The leaves
may be covered with sticky honeydew. The insects can also
be dislodged with high pressure water sprays from the
garden hose.

A leaf miner causes tan blotches on the leaves. No
chemical control is listed. Insects feeding in the leaves
can be crushed by hand.
