CERCIS INSECT PROBLEMS

Treehoppers lay eggs under the bark of twigs. The insect
itself is not seen but the white, sticky froth covering
the eggs is quite noticeable. The insect is seldom
serious.

Scale insects can usually be controlled with dormant
sprays.
