Flowers: Blue, white, pink, purple, red
Comments: Bachelor Buttons are reliable plants. They have
no special soil requirements and grow in full sun or
partial shade. Remove the old flowers to prolong the
blooming season. Tall plants tend to sprawl without some
support. Bachelor Button is useful in flower
arrangements. The plant is a possible candidate for a
site with poor, dry soil.
Propagation: Plant seed directly into the garden since
transplanting is difficult. Germination takes one to two
weeks.
