Comments: Japanese Beautyberry is a rounded shrub with
arching branches that is grown for its metallic, violet
colored fruit. The flowers are pink to white but are not
ornamental. The plant is sometimes cut to the ground in
winter to maintain a bushy plant and enhance fruit
production. The fall color is yellow to purple.

Cultivars:
'Leucocarpa' - White fruits (Vis. 1).
