Type: deciduous shrub
Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches
Flowers: Yellow (Vis. 3).

Comments: An excellent barrier plant (Vis. 1) with dark
green leaves, spiny (Vis. 4) twigs and yellow flowers. This
shrub can be used in hot, dry areas and is suitable as a
hedge plant. Unlike many other barberries there are no
fruit. The fall color (Vis. 2) is orange to red.
