Anemone apennina--Apennine Anemone

Type: hardy bulb
Flowers: Blue, pink, white

Comments: Apennine Anemone grows best when provided with
partial shade and a well-drained soil. The plant will
also tolerate alkaline soils but may be short-lived in
heavy soils. Soak the tubers overnight before planting
them 3 inches deep in the garden.

Propagation: Division is done after the foliage matures.
Dig and wash the tubers before they harden. Store the
tubers in dry sand or peat until they are replanted.
