Comments: The bright blue flowers of this allium are
excellent cut flowers. The small clusters of flowers are
borne on 2-foot tall stems. Provide a sunny growing area
and a well-drained soil. A planting depth of 4 inches is
suggested.
Propagation: Bulblets can be separated from larger bulbs
in the fall. Bulbils will sometimes form in the flower
cluster if the flowers are allowed to mature on the plant.
Seed may also be used.
