Provide a sunny exposure and a rich, damp soil. The nuts
are covered with tan husks while still on the tree.
Damask Horsechestnut transplants well and may form clumps
because of its tendency to form suckers.
Cultivars:
var. splendens - A small, low-branched tree or large
